Sehrai condemns Jammu blast | KNO

Srinagar, March 08 (KNO) : Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai strongly condemned the Jammu blast and expressed pain and sadness over the death of two innocent persons and those injured in the blast. Sehrai in a statement issued to KNO said “such cowardly attacks on innocent unarmed civilians are the most shameful acts, which should be condemned in strongest terms in a civilized world. It is a senseless and condemnable act of violence to sabotage the peaceful political struggle.” “Such incidents are against humanity as targeting innocent civilians is barbaric acts,” he said while extended his condolence and solidarity with the bereaved families. Sehrai expressed pain over the human loss and those who received injuries and prayed for the deceased souls and pray for speedy recovery of the injured persons. He also condemned the continuous assaults on Kashmiris outside the valley and a recent one of Lucknow where ‘right wing extremist goons’ attacked few Kashmir fruit vendors. Expressing serious concern on the unremitting attacks on Kashmiris as ‘deplorable’, he said, “Such attacks are a manifestation of the hate-mongering being perpetrated against Kashmiris in a planned manner on the behest of ruling dispensation.”(KNO)
